Architectural assessment of the historic town Scotia, CA; in the North Bay Area.

El Paso, TX – 2007. Vernacular Architecture- Design. Client: Leticia and Eddy Alvarez.

Recently finished a budget conscious project for the major renovation of a Southwest style 3300 sq. ft. residence.

Bergen, The Netherlands - 2005. Sustainable Architecture- Design/ Rendering. Min2 Studio: www.min2.nl, Maarten Min, Principal. Worked with the Dutch Architecture Firm MIN2, on design and contest presentation of a mixed use residential project. Also: worked on the design process of a 50 room boutique hotel, and the clients’ presentation.

Palm Springs, CA – 2004. Architecture and Landscape Design. Client: Paul Ortega.

Concept, design presentation and plans for a 7000 sq. ft. Tuscan style Garden Center with retail, nursery and offices.

Santa Fe, NM – 2003. Sustainable Architecture Design: Client: Joseph Daniel McDonald.

Realized the architectural design, blue prints, landscaping, and  interiors of an 1800 sq. ft. Adobe style residence. 

Cancun, Mexico – 2002. Vernacular Architecture Design .Client: Roberta and Ignacio Estrada.

Concept development and client’s presentation of a 2500 sq. ft. modern Mayan residence, designed to be completed in stages to fit client’s budget within time:  1st the guest house, then pool and gardens, and finally the main house.

Ayapango, Mexico – 2000. Historic Preservation and Vernacular Architecture Design. Client: Vicente Lombardo.

Project research, design and client’s presentation for the transformation of a XVI Century Hacienda into an exclusive hotel with 15 suites, events annex, gardens, sports areas, SPA, social areas, and service & parking areas.

Mexico City- 1997-1995. Architectural Design. Gina Diez- Barroso, Principal. Worked with the Mexican based firm on design process, clients presentation and servicing of: an upscale 7 homes gated community, a 4 stories apartment building, and a 5500 sq. ft. residence.

INTERIOR DESIGN EXPERIENCE

San Francisco, CA- 2007 Workflow Assessment. Upwardly Global, Jane Leu, Executive  Director.

Rendered a workflow analysis of this non-profit organization teaming with local design firm Proto-inc.

San Francisco, CA.2006. Decoration. Client: John K. Emery.             

Realized the painting, decoration and landscaping of a 2000 sq. ft. modern 1950’s Victorian home.

Lake Tahoe – 2001. Interior Design. Client: William Hudson.

Realized the painting, decoration and landscaping of a 4500 sq. ft.  Contemporary wood cabin residence.

Mexico City – 1999. Interior Design. Client: Group Las Truchas, Roberto Aschentrupp, Senior Associate.

Completed the concept development, interior design, name & logo of a multifunctional space with capacity for up to 1500 people (to be used for auctions, art shows and dance parties) within a pre-fixed budget and opening schedule.

Mexico City -1998. Historic Preservation, and Interior Design. Client: Architect. Carlos Saaib.

Refurbished a stately 1800 sq. ft. apartment in a historical 1912 Neoclassical building in  historic downtown area.

Mexico City – 1997. Interior Design. Clients: The Campuzano family; Juan de Dios Ramirez.

Concept, graphic and interior design, of a coffee-shop. Also; shop front and interior design for a women’s boutique.

Mexico City – 1994. Interior Design. Clients; Francisco Vargas; Ricardo Nassar.

Projected, supervised and decorated the refurbishing of two stately 1200 sq. ft. Modern style apartments.

Real de 14, Mexico- 1993. Historic Preservation, Vernacular Architecture Design. Client: Ignacio Garza- Medina

Recovered the ruins (18000 sq. ft.) of an 1890’s abandoned hospital in a historic mine town. Rendered formal project to turn the findings into a private Villa respecting the original layout and the vernacular building style.

Mexico City - 1991-1992. Account Executive. Designer. Employer: The Herman Miller Corporation, Mexico City.

Hired by Herman Miller to travel often within the Country as liaison between the Company and its clients as Working Environments Designer. Also; facilitated workshops on the Open Office concept in smaller cities.
